Summer Library Program

The Bloomfield's Summer Library Program, is an annual event that focuses on blending community, learning, and reading through a series of activities from June to mid-July. We hold special programs, invite community guests, and give away prizes with our Summer Reading Challenge.

Summer Reading Challenge

Throughout the summer patrons of all ages complete reading challenges to earn prizes including a free book, library swag, local coupons, and tickets to put in the library's grand prize drawings. The program is meant to encourage patrons to challenge themselves, and read a little outside their usual box.

If you are interested in participating, you can visit the library starting on June 1st to sign up. You can bring in your tracking sheet for prizes anytime through July 31st. On August 1st we will draw the names for the grand prizes, and contact the winners.

Support the Program

The Summer Library Program could not be possible without the generous support of our Davis County community. We greatly appreciate your contributions and recognize that the library's impact would be greatly reduced without them.

If you are interested in donating to the library or the Summer Reading Program, checks made out the Friends of the Bloomfield Public Library can be mailed or brought in to the library. Thank you so much for your support!
